Real World Construction would like to talk with an office or retail Real Estate Broker interested in an opportunity. This opportunity is very well suited for the experience of an office/retail Real Estate Broker but requires an interested person to work in an untraditional Broker role.

If you are interested or know of someone who is please contact us.

Thank you

The work you do for free

Everyday you go to work for free, and don’t even know it. And, if you’re one of those people that enjoy working for free to make someone else rich then this is not for you. Ok the work I’m talking about isn’t hard, but you should know someone has employed you for $0 an hour.

Pull your car over, get out and walk around to the back of the car. Pay attention to the plastic license plate frame emblazoned with a car dealerships name, phone number or website. Maybe its not a big deal, but did the dealership that you bought the car from ever ask you to place it on ‘your’ car. Did the salesmen say ‘Hey I’ll give you a discount on the price if you advertise for us?’ Nope. You gave them $30k and without asking they branded you with their name. Now you are driving around town for years to come advertising for free. Even worse is the audacity of a dealership to smack your car with their sticker. New paint job be damned, here comes the commercial grade adhesive.

Thanks for shopping with us come again.

It’s not how much you earn its how much you save…WAIT it’s not that either

We know that now more than ever we can’t count on how much we expect to earn, but we can count on how much we save. So, we should put all our efforts towards saving? Not so fast. Becoming an extreme saver will certainly move your bank account upward, but it can also lead to a gray one-dimensional life. I do believe that the ‘best’ things in life are indeed free, but there is a whole lot of ‘good’ things that aren’t free. With fixed earnings and responsible savings there is nothing left for the ‘good’ not-so-free things. Right? Wrong. It doesn’t have to work like that IF you realize that there is one more variable that is being over looked. Spending. You really can have the best of everything in your life if you understand to balance Earnings, Savings AND Spending. Great clothes come with a great logo, but they don’t have to. Good food comes with a fancy label to the nearest store, but it doesn’t have to. You can walk into a store to buy something, but you don’t have to. You are spending money for things you don’t want. You wouldn’t buy tire when you want a newspaper. You would buy a shirt when you want a loaf of bread, but that is exactly what you are doing when you pay the premium that comes with a product with a fancy label to the store down the street.

With this realization you are half way to a cure. Now decide what product you want and look to strip away everything about that product you don’t want. Do you want to pay for your groceries packed in a brown paper bag? No? Then go to a store that offers only plastic bags. Do you need your product now? No? Then buy online. Do you need to shop at the closest store? No? Then go a little further to shop. Do you want to pay for CEO bonus? union dues? advertising campaigns? (the list goes on and on)

If your answer to the above questions was ‘yes’, then fine, but take a moment to think about the choice you made: You may have chose brown bags over a dinner for two, chose an instant purchase over your kids field trip, chose convenience over the newest smart-phone. A dinner out, field trips and cool phones are all things you can do without, but they also are the ‘good’ not-so-free things that make the pains of fixed earning and dedicated savings a little easier. Remember you didn’t earn more or save any less. You spent your money on only what you really wanted and now can enjoy the some of the ‘good’ not-so-free things.
